We both had MLK day off! It was a gorgeous day here, so we decided to take advantage of the nice weather and do something outside. Like fencing.
A few weeks ago, the wind here blew part of Mary's fence down (Mary is Brian's mom). Since it was so nice outside on Monday, we thought we would do some repairs on it and take advantage of the nice weather. Besides, Brian is so good at building and fixing stuff... and Sara is always up for learning something new and helping her man out. :)
When Brian got up, we went and rented the "awesome" auger from Home Depot and headed over to Mary's. Brian operated the machine for all but one of the holes - on the last one, he let Sara "drive." It was actually pretty cool - but a good work out. Man, that thing is heavy!
So we dug holes, set the posts, screwed in some boards, cut some lumber... it was a good day. We finished most of the fence together, but Brian had to go and complete the rest of it on the next day.
He is the MAN of DIY!!
